You will sweat doing this sequence of 26 postures + 2 breathing exercises in a room heated to 37°C. Your muscles will relax, your body will open and your mind will become still. Beginners are very welcome.
Guidelines for a great class
Arrive early – try to arrive at least 20 minutes before class starts. This will give you enough time to register, change into your yoga gear and get comfortable in the room.
Dress lightly – fitted shorts and a sports top are best. Clothes to avoid are anything that will cling to you like cotton t-shirts or loose baggy trousers.
Drink lots of water – come to class well hydrated and bring a water bottle with you. You can add a pinch of sea salt to replenish your electrolytes.
Hold off on food – eat at least 2 hours before class, 3 hours is even better. If you absolutely need something to make it through, then a light snack such as a fruit or vegetable will generally be ok up to a half an hour before class.
Bring 2 large towels – 1 to cover your mat and 1 to dry off after. There are no showers available so bring something warm to change into before going back outside.
