14-15th June - Brian Cooper

details below

Brian Cooper
Following last year’s highly successful workshop we’re delighted to welcome Brian back to the Shala. Brian is one of the UK's most experienced and respected yoga teachers, having practised yoga for over 30 years and taught ashtanga yoga since 1990. He also holds an advanced diploma in Thai Massage and has recently published the book Yoga: The Art of Adjusting.

Brian has combined his years of practice and his scientific and historical knowledge to provide original insights into the science of Hatha Yoga. This workshop will progress through key areas of astanga yoga’s primary series, taking a fresh look at how to get the most out of your practice. The sessions will be illustrated by anatomical and scientific explanations of each area, and each session will also be used to create a highly effective pranayama practice based on original source material.
