In the classes, we focus on:

• Pelvic floor strengthening
• Abdominal re-toning
• Soothing and stretching neck, shoulders and back
• Increasing upper body strength
• Working with yoga breathing
• Using pranayama and basic meditation practises to help us relax
• Sankalpas to help mental strength

The classes focus is very much on restorative yoga for mums from the challenging ashtanga disipline. No experience is required and the class is designed to help get the body toned, strong internally and externally and aid those interested back in to a regular yoga practice. Babies are welcome and encouraged to join us at the class.

Please note:
1). Your baby's happiness is key in the class, we will cover all areas again at some point so please don’t worry about missing out if your baby needs you (happy baby, happy mum).
2). As you know your baby, please bring anything you feel will be appropriate to make them feel at home at the Shala.
3). Your baby is your responsibility in the class.
4). Payment for this course must be received in advance to secure your place. Payment (by cheque or bank transfer) for the course is £37.50 (for 5 weeks). Payment is to be made to Nicola Harpin, c/o 45 Rossington Road, Endcliffe, Sheffield, S11 8SA.
