Ashtanga Yoga Workshop with Radha and Pierre of Yoga Plus, Crete 19th-24th November 2011

We are delighted to welcome Radha and Pierre back to Sheffield in 2011, following their very successful workshop here in 2010. This is another opportunity for us to practice with two of the most experienced Ashtanga teachers in Europe.

Radha and Pierre are dedicated Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga practitioners and teachers and are both direct students of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, the originator of Ashtanga Yoga. As one of the first teachers to introduce Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga to Europe, Radha has taught many students who have since gone on to become established Ashtanga Yoga teachers themselves.

Radha and Pierre’s teaching style is to ‘guide without interference’ and to encourage without pressure, enabling students to discover their full potential. They believe that Yoga should enhance the enjoyment of life by making everything we do less complicated. Radha and Pierre run Yoga Plus in Crete, offering yoga plus other body and mind related disciplines. Yoga Plus is in Agios Pavlos in Crete, one of the most dramatically beautiful places in Europe (see www.yogaplus.co.uk ).

10.30 am – 12.30 pm. Mysore style self-practice
1.00 – 2.00 pm: Reflection/theory session
Mon 21st–Wed 23rd Nov
7.00 – 9.30am Morning Mysore style self-practice.
Thurs 24th Nov
6.00-8.00pm Led Primary Series Class

Who: Open to all practicing Ashtanga Yoga for at least 3 months

Mon-Wed Morning Mysore style self-practice: £40 (£30) for 3 days or £15 (£12) per session
