Yin yoga is the ideal complement to dynamic, muscular or 'yang' forms of yoga. It uses long holds (typically 3-5 minutes) in simple, relaxed floor postures that seek to stretch, stimulate and create fluidity in the deep connective 'yin' tissues of the body.
